Thomas has words! This is really exciting for me to be able to post, because he's 18 months old and thus far has been silent on the speaking front. He babbles like nobody's business, but hasn't really had any words. But with the help of his clothes, I have been able to teach Thomas a few little words. I would point to the object on his shirt and say what it was, and after a few times, he would point and repeat it. So cute!
He has a shirt with bugs on it. I taught him to say bug - "Duh!"
He has a shirt with a train on it. I taught him to say train - "Deh!"
He has a shirt with fish on it. I taught him to say fish - "Ish!"
I'm so proud of him!

Hooray! I love those first words that noone but mom and dad really understand!
First words are so exciting. I always was eager to hear what my childrens little voices would sound like. I love hearing mom for the first time. It means so much.
That's exciting. Remember Einstein didn't speak until he was four years old. I guess he was busy thinking.
Oh cuteness! You told me about bug, but not train and fish! What a sweetie he is!
