After a very difficult night, we took Jeff to the health clinic this morning. We have noticed that he gets a very bad reaction every time he eats things like bacon and sausage. It started last year, when he got diarrhea and a stomachache eating turkey sausage. It's gotten progressively worse, until last night. He had bacon yesterday, and was up vomiting and diarrhea-ing all night long. This time he even got a rash on his neck and arms. So they're going to do some allergy testing on him to find out why. We'll go back in about a week to see what they found.
This really is bad news for Jeff - sausage and bacon are two of his favorite foods in the whole world! We have half a package of bacon in the fridge right now, and he can't have any of it (though, this might not be bad news for me, because that just means more for me...). It's just kind of a sad situation - I imagine it would be something like me finding out I was allergic to chocolate or something!
Anyway, I'll update when we find out more. Keep poor Jeff in your thoughts. Can't eat bacon, what a terrible thing!

my step mom is allergic to chocolate, her nose runs and itches but she still eats it. it cracks me up.
Mark has upset stomaches when he eats fried food for dinner, ie fried chicken etc. wonder if it has something to do with all the greasy fat on bacon and stuff! keep us posted!
Wow, I can't imagine not being able to eat bacon! Hopefully you guys can get some answers for that..... I'm beginning to think I can't have low carb ice cream this time around. Bad sugars the next day. We're experimenting tonight with that one. Sad day, but more ice cream for hubby!
