Glorious Fall!

Today was just wonderful! Last night it was a bit stormy, with lots of rain and some lightning and thunder. We woke up this morning to a delicious chill in the air (we sleep with the windows open). There was snow on the mountains, where there wasn't before. We went window-shopping at Wal-Mart and Sears, and I actually had to put on a jacket! I was ecstatic! All day I was able to look out the window and see a beautiful cloudy sky and yellowing leaves on the trees across the street. And I made some deliciously spiced bread yesterday that I've been eating bits of periodically throughout the day. The whole day has just spoken "fall" to me. Yes, this has been a wonderful day indeed.

It has been a good day! Weather wise..... I love the first day you have to wear a jacket! Almost as good as the first hot cocoa day.

Fall will seem even better when you guys are moving all your stuff to the new house and it's not 100 degrees outside. :-)

I love fall weather! Here, we've been doing the open-window thing, and yesterday I had hot soup and banana bread...totally understand how food 'speaks' a season.

I love fall too! It's positively my favorite time of the year.
