Ever get into a rut, where you know that you want and need to post something, but don't feel like it, because it was such a big thing and it requires such a lot of pictures and writing to do it justice, so you keep putting it off because you're too lazy and don't want to put all the effort into it that it deserves, even though you know that the more you postpone it the harder it will get? Yeah, me too...
I promise that I will (most likely) post about the reunion. But first I need to get my house in order. It was mostly neat, but not great, when we left for the reunion. Then when we got home on Sunday we didn't really do much to make it better. I did unpack right away (hooray for that!) but we let the dishes keep building up (yeah, that sounds familiar). Then I was sick on Monday morning, and had no energy all of Monday. Then I had no motivation today, and was just lazy all day, so the kitchen is an absolute mess, plus the kids' room is getting pretty cluttered too with clothes that need to be put away or tossed in the laundry. Yeah, lots to do, and not much energy or desire to do it. But I'll do what I can to work on that.
In other news, Jeff has finally been given a schedule for work. His hours are really strange and irregular (2 days on, four days off, 4 days on, 6 days off, something weird like that), but he will be getting a pretty decent amount of hours, considering that he's still on the internship. So we'll have some pay coming in - Hallelujah!! He starts tomorrow (Wednesday)!

It's hard to come home and get settled, ESPECIALLY when you have been sick. Just do what you need to and the rest will fall into place. :)
Yeah for Jeff! I, too, am having frustration...over house stuff, blogging about my trip and other things. Hang in there! Glad I got to see you, even if it consisted of one or two little conversations and a game of Spoon-O.
Glad you are feeling somewhat better now.... I feel your pain about the house. But that's great you are at least all unpacked. I did that too, 1st time ever, that's one of the hardest things to do. I hate sifting through bags to find stuff 2 weeks after getting home...
That's awesome he's getting some more hours! What did we talk about? You guys have done all you can, and the Lord is blessing you for your faith in Him. And it has taken no small amount of faith to do all you have done. Had a baby, moved across the state, gotten the apartment, all without certain income. I don't know how you aren't totally stressed - probably because you are far more easygoing than I - and I am so glad good things are happening. And now you can work on your food storage without worrying about spending the rent money! (that's another blessing in itself, of course...)
Love ya!
Ok, seriously, I don't know how I missed your blog when I was adding them all to my automatic google reader...I've missed a TON of your posts! I'm sorry! But yes, I totally know how you feel about getting overwhelmed with blogging! Just yesterday I was looking through pictures and seeing things I meant to blog about, but just didn't because I was too lazy! But doesn't it feel sooo good when you just do it, and you can see all the fun things you did?! Good luck getting caught up! Can't wait to see pictures!
Hey, I just barely unpacked our big suitcase yesterday! And I'm still trying to find my family room. Take it easy and rest up some - cleaning up will go so much faster when you are feeling really good again. Yeah for Jeff's job and the $$$ coming in!
I am in a rut. I want to post, I have so many posts planned. I just don't feel up to the time of loading pictures and writing it all out like you said. But that is all going to change tomorrow. My rut will come to an end! I hope...
Hey - it's great that Jeff will be getting some money coming in. These lean years can be some of the best when you look back on them. Good to see you and your sweet little ones at the reunion.
