Fast forward to yesterday at the library. While we were leaving, we passed a table with free magazines. Jeff happened to notice that one of them was a crochet magazine and he grabbed it for me. In that magazine I found a pattern for an adorable little sun dress and decided to make it. So I've been crocheting all last night and today, and I finally finished it this evening. And it's adorable! I took some pictures; here they are:
And here is the dress on my sweet little model.
She was so excited about getting a pretty new dress. Doesn't it just look so cute on her?

OH! The cuteness is killing me! :-) You are so talented! My friend does things like this all the time and I never cease to be amazed what you people can do with a piece of metal and some yarn. You'll have to do a jacket to match for fall... When I have a little girl, will you make cute stuff for her? Please? *puppy dog eyes and pouty lips*
That turned out so cute. You are so talented with the crochet hook!
I can't believe you just whipped that out overnight. Wow. That is quite some talent. You are incredible. It is very cute.
WOW! That is TALENT! I am seriously lacking talent in the sewing department!
Wow! I am totally impressed. Especially that you did that in one night.

Stephanie, that dress is just darling and I cannot BELIEVE you made it! I am so impressed! I can't even crochet a respectable pot holder and you are clothing your cute little girl in stylish dresses! I hope you know hope col that is.
PS - Yay! I'm so glad you won the CD on Totally Tip Tuesday! If you'll just email me your address I'll get it in the mail in the next few days! supermomcentral@yahoo.com.
That's , in Mark's words, HELLA cute. You should make more, and sell them on ebay or people at church, with cute little scripture totes and hair barrettes that match.
