New Haircut

I took the plunge on Friday and cut my hair.

All by myself.

The next morning I went back and fixed it, again all by myself.

After fixing it, I was so pleased (and intensely relieved) that my new haircut works wonderfully with my hair and my face. It allows me to take advantage of my naturally wavy hair, in that it sets up perfectly without me having to really do anything. It takes only a couple minutes to blow-dry while running my fingers through it, then a quick spritz of hairspray and I'm good for the next couple days!

And now I'm sure everyone wants to see this fabulous new homemade haircut, so here it is!

I don't know if I would do this again (it was rather nerve-wracking to take scissors to my own hair) but it was neat to learn that I can cut my own hair if I need to, or just want to have a change without spending any money!

I love it! It's smart and sassy, looks great on you, and the best part is the quick fix!

Wow! Very cute! I'm so impressed that you could cut your OWN hair! ...and I thought I was cool for cutting Joe's myself!!

Very cute. And I'm very impressed that you did it yourself.
Also, happy late birthday to Zaylee. What a cutie!

I have naturally wavy hair too... it's nice to just run your fingers through it and people think you styled it :)

Way impressed that you did that yourself! I would never have the guts!!!

Glad you found an easy do--I have wavy hair too and it's tough to work with!

You cut your own hair? Brave, brave girl! I would never in a million years even attempt such a thing.
And it turned out so cute! Good job! :-)

So cute! You are much braver than I am - I trim my bangs, but that's the extent of it.
