...pretty much a regular post, but with a celebrating-like title.
Today we did lots of garden-type stuff. A few days ago Jeff turned the weedy jungle that was our front yard into a barren field. That's funny talk for he hoed and raked and weeded like crazy, and got rid of all the big huge weeds that were covering our yard. Today we bought some cute plastic fencing to put around the yard (the local kids like to hang out in our yard, and we're thinking that's gotta stop). Here's the two sections of yard with the fencing. We're going to put garden vegetables in.
We also bought some tomato plants and a squash plant, and put those in the ground this afternoon. I didn't get a picture of them after we planted them, but I did before:
Anyway. I transplanted my little Mother's Day flower into a pot this morning. I really hope it lives and grows and provides lots of beauty! Here it is, along with another couple plants that Mom planted and gave me yesterday. The purple one is the one I got in church.

Wow! Busy Day! I like the little fence thingy. Hopefully you won't be just tempting the locals more with it. Good luck with the plants, looks like fun!
I love your little garden!! I'm thinking of planting vicariously through you this year...
Seriously, though, I'm excited to see your garden bloom!
What great little spots! I think my peppers just aren't growing, and am depressed...seriously depressed...
But I hope your stuff does REALLY WELL!
