Morning with Mom and Michelle

This morning, Mom and Michelle and I had a girls' day out at the Temple. We were a little late for the session we wanted so we did initiatory instead. That was so neat; neither Michelle nor I had done that since our weddings. This was actually the first time the three of us had been in the Temple together; Michelle was in England when I got married, and couldn't come. It was also my first time going without Jeff, which felt weird. So anyway, it was just a really nice morning, and I really needed that break, and that time in the Temple. It clears the mind and helps everything sort of fall in place, gives the strength to keep going, a sense of renewed energy and peace of mind. All that jazz. It was great.

I HEAR YA! I haven't been for so long with pregnancy, moving, moving again, etc...and I can't WAIT to go next week!!!

I am so glad you got to go. What a nice way to spend the morning!

What wonderful thing! The last time I got to go with my mom, we were late too, but ended up with time enough to do both initiatory *and* a session. I'm bummed, but we missed Friday's ward temple night because Aaron had a late work appointment and I didn't get a sitter in time to go alone. I hope to go soon, though!

Sounds like a great way to spend a "Girls time out". A much needed element in the harried rush of motherhood!
