The past two or three days the weather has been dreary. Lots of drizzly rain, clouds, very little sunshine. We've had the full range - from tiny sprinkles to light drizzle, to all-out rain, like what's going on right now. Why do I bother opening my nice, new curtains at all, if that's all I'm going to see? On the plus side, the grass and plants in our little yard are getting nice and green. We've got what looks like some flowers coming in. They haven't done anything remotely like blooming yet, but Mom says it looks like they could be tulips.
Last night went much better; I got more sleep than I have for a long time. Zaylee slept all night, no waking up. Thomas ate at 9:30, and I got to bed at 10:30, about an hour or so earlier than usual. He proceeded to sleep until 5 in the morning. After that feeding, I had a hard time getting back to sleep, I think simply because my body isn't used to getting long periods of sleep. Then we all slept until about 8:30, at which time I was able to get up fairly easily, without feeling like I still needed several hours more sleep. Nice! I hope nights like last night become much more frequent.
