Just today

Just felt like blogging, and thought I'd share how the day has gone so far. I decided last night that I need to get up early, before the kids are up, so I can exercise in the mornings. So I dragged myself out of bed, got my aerobic dance DVD all set up, and started the workout. A few seconds later, Thomas woke up. He had recently eaten, so I didn't need to feed him, but it was still hard to work out with him up. He kept spitting up, so I had to keep wiping that up; he was crawling around under me feet, so I had to dance around him and keep moving him out of the way. But I was able to get in a good workout. Then Zaylee woke up, so I had to postpone taking a shower until later when Thomas fell asleep and I could pop in a movie to keep Zaylee occupied. After breakfast when I tried to do the dishes, the sinks were blocked up, and wouldn't drain. I could only do just enough dishes to get by before I had to turn off the water, so they wouldn't overflow. It'll have to be like that all day, until the sinks start draining properly - just small loads, a little at a time. And of course, we had to not do dishes last night, go figure. So we have last night's dishes, plus any we use today. I talked to Mom and mentioned that they weren't draining. She said that with the rain we've been having, it's possible that the pipes are blocked up and everyone is having the same problem. Yuck. Anyway, besides that, today has gone pretty well. Zaylee is down for her nap, Thomas will go down soon I hope, and it's a beautiful day.
