We're in the middle of moving. We're going to grab some dinner here at Mom and Dad's, then get back to work. I am so exhausted from working all day, but we will have moved everything over to our apartment by the time we go to bed tonight. However, everything will still be in boxes, so the work will continue tomorrow and for days to come, I'm sure. Anyway, it's exciting to be moving and setting up the apartment, but I'm feeling rather drained.
On a sad note, one of the family's cats, Smudge, was hit by a car early this morning. We're all pretty sad, but are sure that she is having fun playing with kids in heaven.

Moving day is always hard, but I found that if I had a bed ready to sleep in and food I could feed the kids it wasn't so bad. When you are ready for the organ, we are ready for the room
It will be a relief at least to have everything in. I know I always dread the unpacking of the boxes, because it means taking the time to find places for all the stuff. And it's amazing how fast things do get unpacked, simply because you need them! I hope unpacking goes smoothly for you, and I'm sorry to hear about the cat. I'm not a cat fan personally but I know it's really hard to lose a pet.
Oh no! Smudge was so cute! Oren named his little beanie baby kitty after her and drags her everywhere. Lightning will be a little mopey now, missing his sister. But I am glad the moving is going well. Hurrah for moving day!
