A Happy Post!

I was looking back over my posts from the past week or so and realized that it has been a really long time since I posted anything really happy! There was the post about prayer and General Conference, but that was more introspective than cheerful. So I am setting out to post lots of random, happy things from the past few days.

~Every time Thomas sees me smiling at him, he grins this huge, crooked smile and melts my heart! :)
~Jeff got up with the kids today - he's feeling better! And I got to sleep in! :)

~I trimmed Zaylee's bangs last night while she was on the potty. They had been growing long and getting into her eyes, but now that are shorter, perkier, and out of her face. And she mostly held still! :)
~Our DVD player is dying, we've had it since we got married and it's finally puttering out. But we've realized that in a pinch, we can watch DVDs on the computer, which is especially great when I really need to put in a movie for Zaylee so I can get in some work or rest. Yay for technology! Plus it's an excuse to eventually go get a new DVD player! :)

~While our oregano seems to have sprouted and then died, we've got some beautiful little sprouts coming up in our parsley, chives, and mint. And I'm sure more oregano will sprout eventually. Hooray for Spring and new life! :)

~I'm in a good mood right now. That's always happy! :)

I'm glad Jeff is feeling a little better, and Thomas' smile is so cute! I love it when Madison smiles at me; it makes my world okay again. Seeing Zaylee's trim reminds me, it's about time for us to trim hair around here, too. I know my bangs need trimming, as do Madison's, and it's been about 2 weeks again since the guys have had their hair cut...

Yeah for feeling better! I am glad there is sun coming up on the horizon for you. Thomas is the sweetest little guy. That's why you needed him I think. That little ray of sweet sunshine, always smiling, and loving you completely! And you did a great job on Zaylee's bangs.

I just noticed my chives coming back yesterday. I hadn't expected them to come back, so I'm pleasantly surprised. Guess I better hurry up and get the basil and oregano seeds started.

I'm glad things are looking up and that Jeff is feeling better. Thomas' little smile is so cute.
We don't have a dvd player and have been using the computer to watch dvd's too. Not as convenient as a real dvd player but it works.
Good luck with your plants. I hope they work out.
