Painting

I've been wanting to paint lately, but didn't have the equipment to do so. Then Mom dug around in her stuff and found some canvas and paint sets she said I could use. Hooray! So I brought them out today and decided to try a trial run, cutting off a small bit of canvas to practice on, about 5"x8". I was so excited to try the acrylic paints and create a beautiful little picture.

However, it turned out that the paints were very old, and had dried up. I was able to squeeze a bit of color out of the tubes, but it really didn't paint the way I wanted. Oh well. I guess next time I'll try the watercolors, and maybe I'll just buy my own acrylic or oil paints to use at a later time.
