Shortly after Jeff got home this afternoon, Thomas was a little fussy. Sitting next to Jeff on the couch, I held out my arms and said brightly, "Come here, Thomas!" Thomas grinned and made a beeline - straight to Jeff! Jeff was thrilled.
Welcome to my world.... :-) I actually don't mind. When Nathan was 2 1/2-3 and woke up screaming several times a night ( no idea why ) Mark was who he wanted, so I didn't even bother getting up. "Your son wants you..." and went back to sleep! Thomas is the cutest little guy...
Steve loves it when the kids turn to him for stuff, because they usually favor me pretty heavily. Even if they just got in trouble with me, they don't usually turn to him for comfort. They come straight back to me. Really frustrating for him sometimes, since he does want acknowledgement that he's more than the paycheck, you know :)
Awww!!! How sweet!!!! :) I am just now figuring out that your husband is taking classes. How long does he have to go? I hope I don't sound nosey - I'm just curious and excited to be meeting new friends! :))
He has just over two more weeks of classes (almost finals now - major stressful time!). During this summer he'll do clinical rotations, where he has to prove that he's learned what he's supposed to and can do all the clinical lab stuff he needs to know how to do. Then he has to take the big exam that will certify him as a clinical laboratory scientist, and then he can get a job! Woo hoo!
And no, I don't think you're being nosy at all! It is cool to meet new friends!

That's really cute! Evie is pretty much a daddy's girl, too. Probably cuz she's sick of spending all day with me!
